These, allows the organization to intervene and address the challenges that face pre and post conflict contexts, including disability mainstreaming, gender, peace education, development, economics and human rights issues.

Mr. Jacob is the founder and CEO of the HRRDS. He initiated the establishment of Hope Relief and Rehabilitation for Disabilities Support; an idea born out of strong desire and passion of helping others, especially the vulnerable groups of the society. These, coupled with personal and professional experiences drove Mr. Jacob to establishing HRRDS solely to address the needs of PWDs and assure full rights, economic independence, and equality of opportunities to the same. Mr. Jacob has broad experience working humanitarian organization and in disability programs within East Africa and Australia, and has provided support and leadership to several operational sectors. Mr. Jacob holds Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Federation University in Australia and proficiency certification in children and disability services.

Program Manager

Mendy, brings to the organization over three years of experience in corporate communication and program management; with experience working in several international development and humanitarian organizations in the region. Mendy provides technical support in general programming, project development as well as maintaining donor relations. Mr. Mendy is passionate in working and supporting vulnerable groups especially those in forced displacement and persons with disabilities. He loves volunteering in charitable organizations during his free time. Mendy holds a degree in International Relations and Security Studies from Daystar University and proficiency certification in I.T and research.

Mr. Gamar poses bachelor’s degree in economics and business administration from Catholic University. He brings to HRRDS over 7 years of experience working in different capacities and has broad experience engaging as human resource and general administration. Gamar possess strong interpersonal skills and has great experience, focus and passion on supporting others. He has excellent experience from working in complex humanitarian context with vulnerable groups including previously working with Handicap International, Samaritan Purse, MC Scotland and other local, regional and international organizations. He provides general support and ensures that HRRDS adhere to policies and guidelines as well as provide support in recruitment processes.

She has verse knowledge in financial systems including M&E, financial management and budgeting. She ensures compliancy with internal policies as well as donor regulations.

Safa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, and brings to HRRDS over 3 years of corporate experience in financial management. She has verse knowledge in financial systems including M&E, financial management and budgeting. She ensures compliancy with internal policies as well as donor regulations. Due to her passion and commitment to serving humanity, Safa has demonstrated high level of transparency and accountability and would therefore ensure effective use of project resources and assets.

Kallo is proficient in monitoring and evaluation, and understands the need to be consistent in evaluating HRRDS protection policies and procedures for efficiency of the organization. His commitment is showcased in his ability to work in challenging but yet rewarding environment. He is reliable, trustworthy and flexible.
